He founded a post-graduate learning center and taught at the ECU School of Dental Medicine, all while co-founding The Dream Factory of North Carolina, a charity that has granted over 250 dreams to seriously ill children.
Dr. Michels leads by example in his personal life as a marathon runner and father to three children who have all entered the healthcare field. Through his innovation as a patent holder and his deep commitment to community service, he continues to inspire others to make a significant impact.
